Who She Is
Chauntae Davies was an aspiring actress and massage therapy student in Los Angeles when she met Ghislaine Maxwell. Maxwell befriended her and flew her to Epstein’s Palm Beach mansion. Davies worked for Epstein for years as a traveling masseuse, accompanying Epstein’s circle on international travel to his various properties around the world. A well-known photograph shows her giving Bill Clinton a massage at a small airport in Portugal in 2002 during a fuel stop on Epstein’s plane.
What She Says Happened
Davies has given extensive interviews to NBC News, NPR, and CBS News about her abuse. The first encounter involved Epstein masturbating in front of her. She described how Maxwell’s friendship and grooming led her to trust the situation: ‘I was young and struggling and had come from not such a privileged background. She seemed wanting to better my life and even was personal about it.’ The abuse escalated: ‘It was about the third or fourth encounter meeting, the two of them, where things progressed to rape.’ At the September 2025 Capitol Hill rally she said of Epstein’s connection to Trump: ‘His biggest brag forever was that he was very good friends with Donald Trump. He had a framed picture of him on his desk, with the two of them. They were very close.’ And: ‘We cannot heal without justice. We cannot protect the future if we refuse to confront the past.’
What She Did About It
Davies filed civil claims and participated in the Epstein Victims’ Compensation Program. She appeared in major media (NBC, NPR, CBS, Democracy Now) and gave testimony to Congress. She is one of the most prominent survivor voices and spoke at the September 2025 Capitol Hill press conference demanding full release of the Epstein files. She continues to push for accountability.
