There Is No Epstein Client List Sitting in an FBI Filing Cabinet

By Updated

The whole Epstein List circus has been entertaining - but it’s time to get serious about what actually exists versus what people think exists.

The DOJ and FBI say there’s no magical document called “the Epstein client list” sitting in some FBI filing cabinet waiting for Trump’s signature. What we have is a collection of flight logs, surveillance footage, depositions, sealed court documents, and that infamous black book. Most of this stuff is already public. Some remains sealed for legitimate legal reasons. And some - surprise - got lost or destroyed while Trump was running the show the first time around.

Remember when Pam Bondi dragged those MAGA influencers to the White House and handed them those massive binders of redacted nonsense? People were rightfully asking, “What the hell was that supposed to prove?” But here’s the really stupid part - you can find the unredacted versions of those pages online. I know because I found them.

I’ve got pages of notes on the Epstein case, but I never found a smoking gun. Take the names in Epstein’s Little Black Book - just because someone’s contact info was in there doesn’t mean they ever spoke to the guy, let alone did anything illegal. And you can easily find who is in the book with a Google search.

Here are the most notable names in it:

Politics & Government

  • Bill Clinton - Former U.S. President (listed through his office)
  • Prince Andrew, Duke of York - British Royal Family member
  • Ehud Barak - Former Israeli Prime Minister
  • Henry Kissinger - Former U.S. Secretary of State
  • George Mitchell - Former U.S. Senator and diplomat
  • Bill Richardson - Former Governor of New Mexico and U.S. Ambassador to the UN

Business & Finance

  • Les Wexner - Billionaire and former CEO of L Brands (Victoria’s Secret)
  • David Rockefeller - Banker and philanthropist
  • Peter Soros - Nephew of billionaire George Soros
  • Glenn Dubin - Hedge fund manager
  • Steve Forbes - Chairman and editor-in-chief of Forbes

Entertainment & Media

  • Kevin Spacey - Actor, previously accused of sexual misconduct
  • Chris Tucker - Actor and comedian
  • Charlie Rose - Former journalist accused of sexual harassment
  • Mike Wallace - Former CBS 60 Minutes journalist
  • Alec Baldwin - Actor
  • Courtney Love - Musician
  • Mick Jagger - Lead singer of The Rolling Stones
  • David Blaine - Magician
  • Rupert Murdoch - Media mogul, owner of Fox News
  • Ted Kennedy - Late U.S. Senator, brother of John F. Kennedy

Science & Academia

  • Marvin Minsky - AI pioneer, MIT professor

Fashion & Modeling

  • Naomi Campbell - Supermodel
  • Jean-Luc Brunel - French modeling agent, accused of trafficking underage girls

Now Bondi says thousands of hours of video in the case turned out to be child sex abuse material - and it won’t be released. And again - knowing Epstein or visiting his homes doesn’t automatically make you a trafficker. But she said “we know who was involved,” which suggests there’s something else in those truckloads of evidence she demanded from the FBI.

Here’s the thing - Trump had four years with complete control over the DOJ. If he wasn’t involved in the Epstein scandal, he had plenty of time and power to clear his name. Instead, Epstein died in federal custody while Trump’s people were in charge. The guards appeared to be asleep - one admitted he dozed off. The cameras failed. His cellmate got conveniently removed. And Epstein never made it to trial where he could have leveraged Trump’s participation for his freedom - which you know would have happened. That’s why I never bought the suicide story. Why would he kill himself when he had so much leverage?

If there was ever a moment to expose the powerful people behind Epstein’s network, Trump had it and he fumbled it on purpose. Now he’s president again, backing away from what his followers thought was a campaign promise to release “the list.”

But that’s not exactly what he said. When Fox asked if he’d release the Epstein List, he immediately said yes - then spent the rest of the answer backtracking about “phony stuff in it.” Trump’s own campaign account pushed the short clip that cut the backtracking, so people heard a flat yes. Then in September 2024 he told Lex Fridman the list “probably” would come out and he’d “have no problem with it.”

Now he’s doing his usual redirect dance - it’s a hoax “started by Democrats,” it was Obama, it was Biden. His supporters flood my comments daily whining “WELL, WHY DIDN’T BIDEN RELEASE THEM?”

Here’s the reality check: Biden couldn’t release sealed court records even if he wanted to. Presidents don’t control the judiciary. That’s not how any of this works. But MAGA believes that Trump said he would. That was the promise. That was the bait. And now that he’s back in power, he’s dropping it.

The thing is - what we already know is pretty substantial. The Epstein Victims’ Compensation Program paid out $121 million to 136 survivors from about 225 applications. JPMorgan Chase settled for $290 million, Deutsche Bank for $75 million, and the U.S. Virgin Islands got $105 million from his estate, plus another $75 million from JPMorgan - totaling over $500 million in settlements. That’s not chump change, and it represents real victims getting real compensation.

Not to mention, after Epsteins arrest in July 2019, FBI agents searched his Manhattan townhouse and found hundreds of sexually suggestive photographs, hard drives, and $70,000 in cash plus diamonds in a locked safe. When they came back with a broader warrant, the hard drives and CDs they’d left on top of the safe were gone - until Epstein’s lawyer Richard Kahn brought them back in two suitcases. Also, the DOJ Inspector General found numerous and serious failures by prison staff, including falsified records and convenient camera malfunctions.Congressional action has been predictably partisan.

House Republicans blocked Democratic attempts to force votes on releasing files, while Speaker Mike Johnson broke with Trump saying we should put everything out there. Even one Republican - Rep. Ralph Norman - crossed party lines in the Rules Committee to vote with Democrats. BUT the truth is - NO ONE seems to be that serious about getting to the bottom of this mess.

The DOJ says there is no Epstein list, Trump says the list is a phony hoax created by the Democrats, and Democrats are asking for a list to be released that most likely DOESNT exist and they know they dont have the power to get.But heres the real question - if anyone actually cared about justice instead of political theater, why not ask the women? Why not center this entire conversation around them and what they want and need?Out of about 225 women who applied to the Epstein Victims Compensation Program, about 150 were deemed eligible and 136 accepted settlements.

But what about the 75 who were rejected? What about the ones who turned down offers because they werent adequate? Those voices have been completely ignored in this political circus. Then theres Katie Johnson, the woman who filed multiple lawsuits in 2016 claiming Trump and Epstein raped her when she was 13.

Her case was dismissed for technical filing errors, refiled, then dropped after she received death threats and canceled a press conference. Her lawyer said the firm’s website got hacked and a bomb threat came in. She hasn’t spoken publicly since she dropped the case in 2016 - she only ever filed under a pseudonym. Whether you believe her story or not, the fact that a woman making serious allegations simply went silent should be concerning to anyone who actually cares about victims.

But nobodys asking where Katie Johnson is now. Nobodys investigating what happened to her or why she disappeared. The focus stays on the powerful men and their political games while the women - the actual victims - remain afterthoughts in their own story. Weve got politicians promising to release lists that dont exist while ignoring the women who could tell us what actually happened. You know what they say about insanity..

Correction, October 7th, 2026: This post first listed Walter Cronkite and Stephen Hawking among the names in Epstein’s black book - neither is in it, and both were removed. It also said Bondi described thousands of hours of surveillance video from Epstein’s properties (she said thousands of hours of video in the case was child sex abuse material), that Fox edited out Trump’s backtracking (his own campaign account pushed the clip), that Trump said the files were “written by Democrats” (he said the hoax was “started by Democrats”), that evidence vanished from Epstein’s safe (his lawyer brought it back), that Katie Johnson’s lawyer said her car and phone were stolen (the lawyer said the firm’s website was hacked and a bomb threat came in), that “some Republicans” crossed party lines (it was one), that 135 survivors were paid (it was 136), and that Steve Forbes is CEO of Forbes Media (he’s chairman and editor-in-chief).

Update, October 7th, 2026: A few lines now say who says so - the DOJ and FBI on the client list - and Bill Clinton’s entry now notes it’s his office that’s listed.
