The Trump Assassination Attempt: Why I Never Thought It Was Staged

Look – I have definitely indulged in posting Trump assassination attempt conspiracy memes – as a joke. But, some of you might remember when I wrote about the incident last year – and laid out why I did NOT think it was staged.Reading my comments just now from my post about Dems calling for gun control when it happened – kind of flabbergasted me.

People have really latched on to some easily disprovable information. The thing is – humans have a knack for seeing what they want to see.The moment shots rang out in Butler, Pennsylvania, the internet lit up like Times Square. Within hours, theories spread faster than facts – Trump faked it with a blood capsule, Bidens deep state staged it, Israel pulled the strings, or the victims were just crisis actors.

Its like a choose-your-own-adventure book for people who refuse to accept boring reality. So, lets break this down. The blood capsule theory is the crowd favorite. According to this fantasy, Trump somehow coordinated with a shooter to fire close enough to miss, then bit down on a capsule at the exact moment for maximum dramatic effect.

Except the blood appeared only after Trump touched his ear – right where the bullet grazed him. Forensics show the shot came within millimeters of his head. Thats not a stage trick. Thats luck. And about that retired police officer some folks keep citing – the one who says the blood didn’t look right?

Hes not a doctor, not a forensic analyst, and wasnt even on the scene. He just gave an opinion that conspiracy theorists liked. Then we get to the crisis actors. Apparently Corey Comperatore, a firefighter who died, was willing to fake his death and leave behind a grieving family just to juice Trump’s poll numbers.

The two critically injured men? Also supposedly in on it. The’se were real people with decades-long histories, families, and medical records. Faking their existence would require hundreds of accomplices and decades of forged documents. If the government was capable of that level of coordination, they wouldnt have let a 20-year-old with a rifle climb onto a roof in the first place. And lets really think about that – they decided to create this massive false flag event with a 20 year-old-kid – that got rejected from his high school gun club because he was so bad a shot.

Come on!? Wait, no, he wasnt the actual shooter, there was another sniper that did the real shooting? Um, sure. So, you’re telling me the most incompetent man on earth pulled off a fake assaisnation attempt? Okay. Heres the actual story. The Secret Service failed at their only job – don’t let anyone shoot the president.

Local police even spotted the gunman beforehand and somehow didn’t stop him. Thats not evidence of a grand conspiracy – its proof of incompetence.Theatrics like Trump’s raised fist after the shooting feed the conspiracies too. People say it proves the whole thing was staged. In reality, the Secret Service already knew the shooter had been killed.

Trump could have heard this as they were picking him up from the ground. Trump’s a showman – of course he struck a pose. Heres the thing some people don’t seem to understand: Breaking this story would get a reporter a Pulitzer Prize – the highe’st honor you can recieve. I guarantee there are professional, lifelong journalists out there that have gone down the’se rabbit holes even deeper than you have.

If there was ANY Real evidence proving any of this was staged – they would be shouting it from the rooftops. What all of this really says is less about Trump and more about us. A poll found one in five Americans think the shooting was staged. Not because evidence points that way, but because people trust their tribes more than their eyes.

Social media algorithms reward the wildest takes, not the accurate ones. So within an hour of the shooting, the lies had already outrun the truth. The real conspiracy isn’t a staged assassination attempt. Its the way our information ecosystem has trained people to distrust reality and accept whatever story flatters their worldview.

Sometimes the simple answer is the right answer – a motivated shooter plus security failures created a near miss. No crisis actors. No deep state. No blood capsules. Just human error and political violence colliding on a summer day in Pennsylvania. If you ever really want to know the truth about something – use the scientific method and try to debunk your own claim.
